A Ramadan to remember
Ramadan is a special time observed by Muslims around the world, marked by fasting from dawn until sunset. It’s a month of self-discipline, reflection, and community. The fasting is not only about abstaining from food and drink, but also about practicing patience, empathy for others, and gratitude.
Beyond fasting, Ramadan is a time for family gatherings, special prayers, and charity. People come together to share meals after sunset (Iftar) and support those in need. The month concludes with Eid al-Fitr, a festive celebration where families exchange gifts and enjoy meals, marking the end of Ramadan.
This March, immerse your little ones in the magic of Ramadan with a captivating storytelling experience. Led by up-and-coming local children's author Nabiha Mobeen, these storytelling sessions will explore the beauty and meaning of Ramadan through engaging tales and valuable lessons.
Ramadan is a Time to Give Back
Zakat, one of the Five Pillars of Islam, is a fundamental act of charity that encourages Muslims to give a portion of their wealth to help those who are less fortunate.
As we embrace the spirit of Ramadan, we believe it's a time to reflect, give back, and make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
While our Ramadan Storytelling sessions are free, we are proud to partner with the National Zakat Foundation this Ramadan to help raise funds and assist those in need.
We encourage everyone attending our storytelling sessions to make a gold coin donation or contribute electronically through our available QR code.
Your generous donations will go a long way in supporting those who need it most this Ramadan.
